The problem you'll first ask yourself is " how to transfer files from phone to PC via USB and vice versa? "
Being the eager you, you perform the " plug and play" sytle unfortunately, the device isn't recognized by your PC or laptop.

First, you must download the Samsung Galaxy Y driver here.
run the " set up.exe' file after unzipping the file from winrar.
after an installation, a message will appear confirming that the driver was successfully installed.
Next, connect the USB to your Samsung Device and connect via PC or Laptop.
On your phone, there will be an alert that says" USB connected".
Go to your Notications menu ( this where you can find other icons such as bluetooth, Wifi, GPS. sounds)
click the " USB connnected" notification.
after that the Android mascot appears and confirms that a usb is connected. if you would like to proceed, click " OK".
Voila! you can now seamlessly transfer files without hassle!
Don't forget to " safely remove" your USB to prevent corrupted files in the near future.
